God called Amos, an ordinary shepherd, to be a prophetic voice to Israel, reminding us that God delights to use ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. Today, God calls every Christian to bear faithful witness to Christ in the ordinary places where He has placed us. The question is not whether God can use us, but whether we are willing to make ourselves available to Him.
