Jesus’ central message was not a list of rules or a private spiritual experience. It was the announcement of a Kingdom. God’s reign has broken into the world through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the King, and it continues to reshape everything it touches.

In this series we explore what it means to live under the rule of Christ: the nature of His Kingdom, the values that define it, the invitation to enter it, and the hope of its final consummation. As we move toward Christ the King Sunday, we are invited to reorient our lives around the One whose reign is already present and still coming in power.

Join us as we seek first the Kingdom and learn what it looks like to live as citizens of the King.

The prophet Amos, a shepherd and fig-tree tender from Judah, confronted his prosperous yet corrupt people in the 8th century BC. Despite the economic stability and political security of the time, Amos’s message exposed their hypocrisy, empty worship, oppression of the poor, injustice, complacency, and idolatry. He called for genuine repentance, justice, and covenant faithfulness. His message served as both a warning of impending judgment and a promise of restoration.

“The Roar of Justice” is a sermon series that aims to apply the timeless principles of this ancient prophet to the church of today. The call of God upon his people remains constant: to pursue holiness, practice justice, and demonstrate a living faith through sacrificial obedience.
