This series invites believers to pursue God’s wisdom for navigating the complexities of life, drawing from the timeless truths of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and James. In a world filled with competing voices and fleeting philosophies, God’s Word offers a sure foundation for decision-making, relationships, work, and trials. Each week, we’ll explore how biblical wisdom shapes our daily walk, equipping us to live faithfully and fruitfully in a way that honors God and blesses others.
All five sermons from the 2026 spring revival series, “Open Our Eyes,” with Dr. Steve McGuire are available now on the EMC podcast page. Click here to listen and/or download!
Our theme this year is “Rainforest Falls – Exploring the Nature of God.” Kids will step through the mist and plunge into an adventure of discovering the nature of God. They will explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms.
WHEN: August 3-6, 2026
TIME: 9 am – noon (plus a closing program on Thursday evening at 5:30 pm )
Join us for our 2026 spring revival “Open Our Eyes” with Dr. Steve McGuire, May 17-20. This is our annual event where we set time apart as the body of Christ to allow the Holy Spirit to refresh, renew, and revive. Bring your family and friends for this exciting time of seeking God together as the body of Christ!
Most of us live our lives based on what we can see, touch, and measure. But what happens when God peels back the curtain? True revival begins when we stop looking at our problems and start seeing our King. From Isaiah’s breathtaking vision of the throne room to Jesus’ personal invitation to “come and see,” this series is a journey of spiritual awakening. We will pray with the Apostle Paul that the “eyes of our hearts” would be enlightened—moving us past religious routine and into a life-changing sight of God’s hope, His riches, and His incomparable power.

Every week we hear powerful theological words in our songs, prayers, and sermons, yet oftentimes we aren’t quite sure what they all mean or how they shape our daily lives.
In this 5-week series, “Words That Define Us”, we will unpack five foundational words that define who we are as followers of Jesus, selected by you (via online poll during the month of March)! This series is designed to move us from confusion to clarity and from head knowledge to heart transformation. Whether you’re new to faith or have been in church for years, you’ll leave each week with a deeper understanding of God’s work in your life and a stronger identity in Christ.
Join us as we explore the words that define us—and the God who defines them all.
