Ladies, please join us in the EMC Fellowship Hall for Morning Light or Night Light Bible study as we fellowship and learn from God’s Word together!
Thursdays, February 12-March 19
Morning Light: 9:30 AM
Night Light: 6:30 PM
Our study is Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath, by Priscilla Shirer. One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to cease from all the activities and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. In the Old Testament, Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, then the concept of Sabbath will change your life.
Books will be available at the first sessions at a cost of $13.
(If you are unable to afford the book, please let us know and we can get you one free.)
Childcare is available for preschool children ages 0-5 years for Morning Light only. You must pre-register your children by 2/8 so that we will have appropriate staffing. Pre-register by contacting us with the names and ages of your children.

“Afterward Jesus went up on a mountain and called out the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him.” (Mark 3:13, NLT)
In the gospel of John, the theme of light is one of the many ideas that can be traced throughout its message: light that gives life; light that provides direction; light that heals and transforms, and even brings judgment! But light is never meant to be understood as photons traveling through physical space and time, but a uniquely divine-human person who came from heaven to earth. That person is the reason we celebrate Christmas at all.
