It is (Not) Finished

Concerning the sacrifice of Jesus, it is finished. There is nothing left for him to do. We need nothing less or more than him. There is no Jesus + anything for the Christian life. He is our all in all. But concerning the sacrifice of worship for the Christian living in the already, but not yet, in the overlapping of ages, it is not finished. So through him, because of him, and for him, let us praise, confess, and serve him with all that we are, without ceasing, every moment of life as we run the race through a world that is not our home.
