Paul’s ministry in Corinth was to lay a solid foundation like an “expert builder.” That foundation is nothing other than Jesus Christ—his person and his work. Only lives that are built upon him and aligned to him are able to withstand the floodwaters of life today and the fires of judgment tomorrow.
