At creation, the self-sufficient, 3-in-1 God, out of love, made room within himself for others who are not himself. Through the Son and by the Holy Spirit, the Father is working to restore that which has been lost. When we, by faith, say yes to his gracious offer of salvation, we’re not getting some impersonal “unmerited favor,” we are getting Him.
